Announcing Our Joy to Mother Christ Covenant Waccamaw in Pawley’s Island
Beloved in Christ,
It is with deep gratitude and joyful anticipation that we share exciting news: Andrews Presbyterian Church has been called by God to serve as the mother church to a new congregation—Christ Covenant Waccamaw—planted in the beautiful and growing community of Pawley’s Island and the Waccamaw Neck.
A Gospel Presence on the Waccamaw Coast
Christ Covenant Waccamaw is a Reformed congregation devoted to the faithful proclamation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and the nurturing of believers within a covenant community where worship, spiritual growth, and equipping for service are all grounded in God’s Word.
Their mission is simple and compelling: to make known the glory of Christ through the ordinary means of grace and to cultivate a fellowship marked by truth, love, and holiness.
“While the Waccamaw Neck—including Georgetown, Pawley’s Island, Litchfield, and Murrells Inlet—is one of the fastest-growing areas of Georgetown County, there has not been a PCA presence there—until now.”
This church plant brings a distinctly Reformed and confessional witness to this flourishing region, proclaiming the timeless truths of Scripture to a new generation of families and neighbors along the South Carolina coast.
A Partnership in the Gospel
As a congregation, we at Andrews PCA are humbled and thrilled to walk alongside this new work of grace. We count it a privilege to pray for, encourage, and support Christ Covenant Waccamaw as they take root and grow.
This partnership reflects our shared conviction that healthy churches give birth to new ones and that the gospel of Christ must go forth to every community.
